"A good introduction to the principles of Bridge for younger players. 4 exciting games presented as a board game to introduce America's favourite card game to young players. A 3 player option is described. Game 1 for 4 players; aim to take the most tricks. Game 2 for 4 players; involves simple bidding and special scoring. Highest score wins after 4 hands. The scores for each hand are recorded on the numbered pathway of the outside of the playing board. Each player uses a colour wood marker to record the score. Game 3 for 3 players; as with the other games except players seat at South, West and North. The dummy East seat is empty and there are only 3 hands to a set. South deals the first hand, West the second hand and North deals the third hand. A counter placed on the dealer dial keeps track of dealer. After dealing the cards, 8 of dummy's cards are turned over and placed face up in front of East, in order, highest on top in suits. The dealer must not show the other 5 cards. Game 4 for 4 players; partnership bidding and play. There are 2 partnerships, North:South and East:West. The winning team is the first to score 52 points or get the highest score after the fourth hand. If tied, a fifth hand is played."
