2002 Ibanez Soundgear SR300DX 4-string Bass Guitar w/hard-shell case - $325 in Sudbury, Ontario for sale

$325

Bought in 2002, has seen a few years of moderate playing, and has been sitting in its case for the last few years, as I upgraded to a P-Bass.

It has been well cared for, is in excellent condition, and has no problems or scratches besides normal use. No chips or dents. Has a set of Elixir strings on it. Comes with a $120 hardshell case in excellent condition, and an Ernie Ball strap.

From the manufacturer:
The Ibanez SR300DX Electric Bass Guitar brings a phat new tone to the already popular SR300.
This unique active EQ circuit provides up to 15dB of bass boost for a whole new world of low end. You read that right, even at this price, the SR300DX is an active bass, just like the rest of the Soundgear line. A slim 24-fret neck and a comfortably contoured body have made Soundgear basses favorites with thousands of players.

Ibanez first introduced the Soundgear bass in 1987. That same bass continues to be one of the world's most played basses. Why?

Because it's not the same bass. Certainly it's still the sleekest and sexiest. And with all the SR models featuring active electronics, it's still the most tonally versatile. It still has the fastest neck. But Ibanez has continued to improve and update the Soundgear line.

SR4 Neck
Only 20.5mm thick at the first fret, the 34-inch scale SR4STND Soundgear neck is thin, fast and strong. The bolted on All Access neck joint allows the easy access to the upper frets associated with set-in and neck thru joints.

Agathis Body
A relative of mahogany with similar tonal characteristics, agathis provides warm lows with strong sustain.

Rosewood Fingerboard
Rosewood offers a strong, bright sound and an attractive appearance with a long grain.

PHAT
Simple one-control active circuitry boosts the right balance of lows and highs for fatter tone.
